Pillsbury’s Go-To Guy For Career Advice

After beginning his career as a litigator, Jim Lovelace shifted gears to work in legal career development. At The George Washington University Law School, Jim led training programs and counseled students and alumni on their career options. In his decade with Pillsbury, Jim has helped oversee the firm’s Pillsbury University training programs and talent development initiatives for attorneys. Drawing upon his experience as a certified coach, Jim created Pillsbury’s career coaching program for associates and counsel, which now features seven trained coaches at the firm. Now he is responsible for the initiatives that support attorney learning and performance at Pillsbury, as well as continuing education opportunities provided to the firm’s clients.
