Practice Assistant (IP) (2533)
The Practice Assistant will be responsible for accurate completion of a variety of work assignments from multiple secretaries and timekeepers. Representative tasks include: electronic document filing; client bill processing; time entry; coordination of meetings and conference room arrangements; domestic and international travel arrangements; preparation of expense reimbursements domestically as well as internationally; running conflict reports and preparation of engagement letters. The Practice Assistant will provide reception back-up and other administrative tasks as needed.
A 4-year Degree is preferred. General office experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint are required. The successful candidate will have excellent skills in proofreading, spelling, grammar, punctuation and math. To be successful, candidate will have demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines. This position requires a candidate who recognizes it is his/her responsibility to be accountable for all work assignments and to have the interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients, attorneys and staff. This position requires a candidate who is flexible, proactive and willing to work overtime as necessary; one who will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where changes frequently occur.
