IP Docket Clerk (2586)
Pillsbury is seeking an IP Docket Clerk in the firm's Northern Virginia office. Responsibilities of the position include scanning hard copy USPTO mail; review and process incoming mail, email, courier packages and facsimiles for the IP Section firm wide; review and maintain daily docket, including sending daily reminders to attorneys and staff regarding upcoming deadlines; remain cognizant of all USPTO, PCT, and Foreign IP rules and practices, as well as the firm procedures and practices; ensure client service and satisfaction is attained in all areas of the position; and various other tasks as required.
Ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of IP docketing experience, and prior law firm experience. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Candidates must have strong experience in domestic and foreign docketing with a strong knowledge of USPTO, PCT, and Foreign IP rules and practices. Attention to detail a must and familiarity with IP docketing software systems required. The successful candidate must have strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize workload, possess strong oral and written communication skills, dedication to accuracy and thoroughness, be able to function in a team environment, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily work requirements. lnprotech experience preferred but not required.
