Conflicts Analyst (2544)
The Conflict Analyst role is comprised of a combination of administrative and analytical duties with responsibilities that include analyzing conflicts searches, generating reports from the conflicts database, and responding to conflicts-related inquiries in a legal service environment. The Conflict Analyst should have the ability to understand and apply the rules of professional responsibility in relevant jurisdictions when identifying potential conflicts and conducting factual research relating to the resolution of potential conflicts. The individual will analyze conflict waivers and terms of engagement, research the corporate relationships of affiliated companies, and assist with new business matters and related conflict searches and resolution.
Candidate will have a BA degree, familiarity with rules governing conflicts of interest in relevant jurisdictions, and, preferably, practical legal experience in a large corporate law firm. Candidate should have excellent attention to detail, strong legal research and analytical skills, and advanced oral and written communication skills, including the ability to understand, interpret and prepare complex written material clearly and succinctly. Strong interpersonal skills as well as a demonstrated commitment to quality and continuous improvement are required.
