Business Development Coordinator (2582)
The Business Development Coordinator will have responsibility for a variety of tasks in support of the overall business development efforts principally for the Finance, Intellectual Property, Global Sourcing & Technology Transactions, and Insolvency & Restructuring practice sections. Essential duties and responsibilities include preparing client presentation and pitch materials; facilitating and coordinating award submissions; facilitating updates to attorney biographical information and practice descriptions maintained on our website; maintaining content used in our proposal generator tool; maintaining the matter and case representation material in our experience manager database; managing operations related to client events and webinars, such as mailing and RSVP lists, invitation preparation, event postings, sponsorship advertisements, booths and collateral material, and webinar arrangements; and handling other requests or projects on an as-needed basis. The role will also have responsibility for coordinating with lawyer-authors and the firm’s Marketing Communications team in producing timely client alerts, blogs and other external publications.
Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications preferred with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in business development or marketing (professional services or law firm background a plus) and the ability to work in a collaborative, team environment. Candidate should be customer service-oriented with excellent communications skills, be able to manage numerous projects and tasks on fast and tight timetables, and exercise discretion and judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information. Candidate should have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of other applications specific to the legal field.
