Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman’s Litigation Practice has an immediate opening for an Associate with 2-4 years of antitrust and complex business litigation experience. Resident in the firm’s Washington, DC, office, the ideal candidate will have a variety of experience in assisting clients in antitrust and litigation matters, including HSR filings, merger analysis, second requests, FTC/DOJ conduct investigations, antitrust counseling. Strong research and writing skills required. Some DOJ/FTC experience a plus, but not required.
It is required that the candidate have a bachelor's degree and a juris doctorate degree (JD) from an accredited law school. Excellent academic performance is highly valued. The candidate should be a member or eligible to become a member of the District of Columbia Bar. The ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal communication skills, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of ethics and conduct codes which are a requirement for the proper and legal practice of the law.
