Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman is seeking an International Trade associate with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. Resident in the firm’s Washington DC office, the successful candidate will have experience in export controls, economic sanctions, CFIUS regulations, customs, FCPA counseling, WTO/NAFTA issues, and antidumping/countervailing duty cases. All inquiries will be held in strict confidence.
It is required that the candidate have a bachelor's degree and a juris doctorate degree (JD) from an accredited law school. Excellent academic performance is highly valued. The candidate should be a member or eligible to become a member of the District of Columbia Bar. The ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal communication skills, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of ethics and conduct codes which are a requirement for the proper and legal practice of the law.
